Make collections easier to discover
We aligned core equipment pages with the commercial terminology French shoppers use close to purchase.
International shoppers do not describe the same product in the same way. They use local terminology, ask different beginner questions and expect product guidance that feels natural in their language.
The retailer already had the right equipment, but one broad catalogue experience made discovery harder. Beginners could not always move from a question to an appropriate collection, while purchase-ready visitors did not consistently land on a page shaped around their market.

We mapped the search and shopping journey separately for each language instead of treating localization as a translation exercise.

We refined titles, headings, category copy and internal anchors for each market. Why it worked: the site could answer an early top-of-funnel question, support middle-of-funnel comparison and deliver a purchase-ready visitor to a bottom-of-funnel category without breaking the journey.
International buyers can now reach a market-specific answer sooner and continue into the right equipment collection with more confidence. The retailer gains more opportunities to sell because educational discovery and product discovery now support one another.
